The Bark Magazine published a few of my “Hey Pup” photos in the most recent issue of the magazine. The photos are part of an essay about dogs at home. It was so fun to see some of these photos published as I’ve been working on this series for over a year now.
Just shot these the other day. Hurley (the white dog) is still a pup so all he wanted to do was torture Lucy but as a typical chihuahua she wanted nothing to do with him. It was really cute. Liz is a photographer too, actually studying for her Masters. Its always fun shooting another photographer but a little intimidating.
I took a few months away from the dog series in order to concentrate on some other work but I’m back in full force. Every time I do a shoot for this I remember how much I enjoy this series. I always get emails asking who these people are and what they do so here is a little info on them. Carolyn is an amazing photographer and Matt is part owner in the Jakewalk. They recently rescued 1 year old Maggie from North Shore Animal League.
I have another shoot at the end of this week so stay tuned…..
The weather finally warmed up in New York this weekend so Blake and I were able to get out and do some laps on the bike in Prospect Park (and lounging on the grass playing with polaroids) These were a few shots that I posted on thisisaphotoblog

Blake and I hosted turkey day at our apt this year. this is what happens when you put a bunch of photographers in one small room with a polaroid and way too much booze!
The other morning Blake was crawling over me to get out of bed. When I opened my eyes I saw the most beautiful light coming in. Half asleep I had Blake grab my camera and this is what I shot.
