I’ve neglected this blog for awhile now. I took some time off shooting jobs to be a mom and spend time with my daughter. While I haven’t been as present in the editorial world I’m super inspired by the tiny little person that calls me mom. I plan on taking a bit more time off before I get back out there but I think my experiences as a mom have totally opened my eyes even more and I’ve found new avenues of creativity I never thought were possible. So I look forward to sharing more personal work of my family and of course anything else that comes my way.
I shot Leslie for Riviera Magazine. She is a stylist/organizer in orange county. We shot in the most amazing store called Bardot located in Newport Beach. We had a ton of fun playing dress up and finding some awesome locations around the store.
I shot Kaitlyn Jenkins for Riviera Magazine this month. She is staring on a new tv show called Bunheads which I’m pretty sure I will be watching. I am a sucker for abc family shows. She was the sweetest thing ever and the shoot was a ton of fun!
Tyler Warren for Riviera Magazine.
This blog has been a bit neglected over the past few months but I’m back to regular updates. I’ve been busy shooting so I’ll have many new posts coming soon.
This was a cover shoot of Sarah Reinertsen for OC Healthcare magazine. You can read the magazine online here. Sarah is an incredible athlete and was a pleasure to shoot. Sometimes I feel so spoiled living so close to the beach and having such amazing backdrops.
I blogged about a shirt colab I did with To Die for awhile back but it looks like they have the design in a crew neck now which is really awesome. It’s one thing to see something in print but when it’s something a person is wearing it’s definitely a different kind of excitement. I don’t think seeing work get published ever gets old as it’s the ultimate goal to be able to share and see what you did out in the world. If you want to check it out on their site go here.
Brianna Karp for Orange Coast Magazine.
I’ve been back in California for a year now and it’s funny to look at my work and see how much brighter and more sunshine I have going on. Not that NY was dark and gloomy but I didn’t use the sunlight as much as I do now. I’m a sucker for some nice back light and flare.
I shot this for the “Nude” assignment on thisisaphotoblog.com.
The wonderful guys over at To Die For used one of my photos on a shirt. They did some fancy art work over it and I think it looks pretty cool. I love fun collaborations like this.
This is Sanja from the gallery Art Cube in Laguna Beach. I was blown away by all the crazy good art she had in the gallery. Orange County isn’t exactly known for an art scene but she has some serious good taste and her gallery definitely stands out. This was just one of those shoots that was so much fun and we probably could of spent the entire day shooting.
